WIG CARE INSTRUCTIONS
DETANGLE:
When you first open the wig, gently detangle it. Save the net if possible, as this will help maintain the hair after use.
Before washing (especially for curly hair), apply a dime-sized amount of conditioner to your hands and gently spread it on any tangled areas. Use your fingers to detangle the hair—avoid using a comb too harshly. After detangling, start from the bottom and gently comb through the hair using a wide-tooth comb.
WASH:
-
Rinse the hair with cold tap water. Avoid using hot or warm water, as our curly hair is made without chemicals, and heat may affect the texture.
-
Apply a dime-sized amount of conditioner to the hair, finger-combing it to ensure even distribution. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Do not bunch or scrub the wig.
-
Rinse the conditioner with cool water until the water runs clear.
DRY:
Use a clean towel to gently blot the wig dry. For curly wigs, hang the wig upside down with the neck part facing up.
Allow the wig to air dry in a cool, dry environment. Never wear your wig while wet.
DAY MAINTENANCE
-
Always comb or brush the hair using the appropriate tools for its texture. Start from the bottom, then move to the middle, and finally to the top—gently, with care.
-
Hair should be washed and conditioned at least twice a week.
-
Keep hair in a ponytail when not in use. Avoid rubber bands—use a soft fabric or satin scrunchie to prevent tangling and dryness.
-
When using hot tools, we recommend keeping the temperature below 350°F for colored hair and under 400°F for natural-colored hair to avoid dryness. Do not leave any hot tool on the hair for more than 30 seconds. Always clean your hot tools after use.
-
Store your wig on a wig stand or mannequin head when not wearing it.
